This Privacy Policy explains how Invlix collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website (invlix.com) and Service.

We take privacy seriously. We don't sell your data, and we collect only what's needed to run the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect three categories of information:

a. Information you provide directly

• Email address, if you join our waitlist, purchase founding-member access, or contact us.
• Name and billing details, if you make a purchase (collected by our payment processor, not stored by us directly).
• Messages or feedback you send us via email or forms.

b. Information collected automatically

• Usage data: pages visited, time on site, referrer URL, rough approximate location (country/region level), and device/browser information.
• Cookies and similar technologies: small files stored on your device to remember preferences (such as your dark/light theme choice) and to support basic analytics.

c. Information from integrations (once the Service launches)

When you connect your Shopify store to the Service, we receive:

• Store information (store name, domain, plan type).
• Product and variant data (titles, SKUs, prices, inventory levels).
• Sales and order data (quantities, timestamps, variant IDs; we do not need or request customer personal data from your Shopify store).
• Supplier and reorder data you enter into Invlix directly.

We do not request or store Shopify customers' personal information (buyer names, addresses, emails). The Service operates on aggregate inventory and sales data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• Process purchases via our Merchant of Record (Lemon Squeezy).
• Communicate with you about your account, your waitlist status, product updates, and launch timing.
• Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data to train AI models that would expose your business information to other customers, and we do not sell your data to third parties for advertising.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (EU / UK users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal basis for processing your personal data depends on the context:

• Contract: when processing is necessary to provide the Service you purchased.
• Consent: when you opt in to the waitlist or marketing communications.
• Legitimate interests: when we process data to improve the Service, prevent fraud, or communicate important updates, balanced against your rights.
• Legal obligation: when processing is required by applicable law.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information only with:

• Lemon Squeezy (LS Pte. Ltd.) — our Merchant of Record for payment processing, tax compliance, and billing.
• Infrastructure providers — including Vercel (hosting), Neon / Vercel Postgres (database), and any email-sending service we later adopt (such as Resend). These providers process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements.
• Shopify— only to the extent that the Service integrates with your store via Shopify's official APIs.
• Legal requests — if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety or rights of Invlix, its users, or others.

We do not currently transfer data for marketing, analytics resale, or any other commercial purpose beyond operating the Service.

5. Data Storage and International Transfers

Invlix is operated from Pakistan. Our infrastructure providers (e.g., Vercel, Neon) may store and process data in data centers located in the United States, European Union, or other regions.

If you are located outside Pakistan, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries with different data-protection laws than your own. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.

6. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your information only as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

• Waitlist emails: retained until you unsubscribe or the Service launches and you either convert to a customer or indicate you no longer want updates.
• Customer account data: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support customer service, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
• Billing records: retained as required by applicable tax and financial-reporting laws.

You can request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies:

• Necessary: theme preference (dark/light mode), basic session state.
• Analytics (if enabled): aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to help us improve the Service. We do not use cross-site tracking or advertising cookies.

You can control cookies via your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Service functionality.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Deletion — ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Objection — object to certain kinds of processing.
• Portability — request a machine-readable copy of your data.
• Withdrawal of consent — where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
• Unsubscribe — opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted database storage, secure authentication via Shopify OAuth, and access controls.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party websites (for example, Shopify, Lemon Squeezy). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their privacy policies separately.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, attempt to notify you via email or via prominent notice on the website.
